In the context of CIMCIM 2009 conference, the prestigious Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in ROMA will host a CALLAS workshop at MUSA, Museum of Musical Instruments.Preceded and introduced by Massimo Bertoncini, CALLAS Project Director, on September 9 during its CALLAS presentation at CIMCIM, the workshop will start at 3 pm of Thursday, September 10th
CALLAS demonstrators will be showcased to participants: attendees of CIMCIM, and all lovers of technology and experts of multimediality are invited. The potential of CALLAS affective interfaces deployed on interactive kiosks will be illustrated and discussed. It is an opportunity for curators of Museums willing to attract more visitors to their exhibitions by using this new generation technology for capturing emotions of first time visitors or to reduce the gap of non skilled audience. By reacting to emotions CALLAS based developments can become adaptive and conversational. Presentation and discussion of these challenging opportunities will be illustrated and experiences discussed in a round table.
